// 01 WHY NOW

Defense tech is being rebuilt in real time.

01

A $35,000 drone can force a defender to fire a $4 million missile.

Cheap drones have upended the economics of war, and the race to answer them is reshaping the industry.

02

Budgets are rising fast.

NATO allies have committed to 5% of GDP for defense, and new players are winning contracts once reserved for giants.

03

The customer is unlike any other.

Most newcomers fail not on technology, but on not understanding how militaries are organized, how they buy, and who decides.

// 05 WHY I BUILT THIS

Most 15-year-olds don't read The Art of War for fun.

I grew up in Johannesburg, one of the most dangerous cities in the world. Our home was robbed again and again, and as a child I had a gun held to my head, and to my mother's. I became obsessed with never being helpless again.

When I was 11, I watched footage of the Ramallah lynching: two Israeli reservists murdered and their bodies dragged through the streets. That image has stayed with me for life. As a Jew, I've lived my people's history firsthand, through war and through antisemitism in South Africa, the UK and the US.

All of it led to one obsession: how people, and nations, defend themselves. I dreamed of serving. Instead, my career took me into tech startups, where I've closed six- and seven-figure enterprise deals and contributed chapters to three Routledge books on AI and teams.

Today defense and technology have collided. When I went looking for one place to learn it all, it didn't exist. So I built it.
